Dr. Okuda is recognized worldwide for his research pertaining to the identification of early multiple sclerosis features prior to first symptom development. His current focus involves translating technological innovations created within his lab into next generation healthcare programs that generate new scientific insights and improve patient outcomes. He has been successful in developing original platforms that improve diagnostic accuracy, clinical surveillance, patient education, and treatment optimization initiatives that reduce healthcare costs.

David is a seasoned healthcare executive with 25+ years of experience in healthcare finance, hospital management, organizational leadership, and business development. David is the founder of Free2Care, a non-profit coalition of physician and patient advocacy groups with 8 million members nationally and over 70,000 physicians. David has earned the privilege of being invited to testify before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform in Washington, D.C., and before various House committees in the Texas state Legislature. He is a published author and op-ed columnist and an active speaker and commentator on matters of health policy and healthcare reform. After 25 years in the industry both in operations and policy, David has transitioned to consulting. He serves as the President of Healthcare Finance Specialists, LLC as well as serving on numerous boards. David is a first generation American and the first in his family to graduate from college, with a B.S. from the University of Houston and joint master’s degrees in business administration and hospital administration from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.


Robert Jacoby

Robert has held formative roles in early-stage tech start-ups, providing vital leadership for business development and strategic relations. Notably, Robert has helped launch two of Mark Cuban's successful tech startups, serving as employee #2 and #29. He previously brought his acumen as an analyst for the North Texas Regional Center for Innovation (RCIC), for companies seeking investment by the former Texas Emerging Technology Fund (ETF). Robert has an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and currently pairs his tech engagements with consulting work for value-based private equity firms.
